Ariana Mateo “Ari” is thrilled to join JCC Brooklyn as the Orange Room teacher. Born and raised in the Bronx and now residing in Queens, Ari brings over five years of experience in working with toddlers. Her journey began with babysitting and has since expanded to roles in public schools, afterschool programs, and daycare settings. Ari feels a deep calling to educate and nurture young children, and she is excited to integrate her passion for music into her teaching. Music, she believes, is instrumental in supporting routines, transitions, and foundational learning of the ABCs and 123s. Additionally, Ari introduces toddlers to meditation and movement practices, including breathing exercises and yoga, to help them develop self-control and balance. She looks forward to meeting and connecting with all the families and is eager for a year filled with joy, learning, dancing, and fun.
