Mary Berger has lived in New York City for the past 26 years.  She grew up in the Chicago area and received her BS in Marketing from Indiana University, Bloomington.  Work (in the clothing industry) and love (to a just graduated lawyer) led her to NYC. Life took an unexpected turn with a move to Brooklyn and the birth of her son.  He was born with special needs and inspired Mary to change careers. After receiving a masters degree in Early Childhood Education from Hunter College, she has spent over 12 years working in Early Intervention before coming to the JCC-Clinton Hill.  Mary lives with her husband (a former lawyer turned wine store owner), three teenagers and very large dog in Prospect Lefferts Gardens. She loves to read and cook (and read cookbooks) and spend time with her family.
